The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has made changes to the earlier scheduled period for her 2021 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Recall that the examination had been said to kick-off from Saturday, 30th April 2021 but has now been adjusted and will hold 20th May, 2021.

According to the Head of Public Affairs, Mr. Fabia Benjamin, the change was necessary due to certain adjustments in processes of operation.
To ease tension, he added that the current change will not affect the Mock Examination and other schedules, including the date for the UTME fixed for 5th to 19th June 2021.

Concern for candidates who wrongly send their information to JAMB via the short code ‘55019’ in the bid to generate profile.
Candidates are advised to follow the correct process for registration
1. Send in a text message the word ‘NIN’ give a space, then insert the eleven digits of your NIN number and send to 55019.
For instance; NIN(space)12345678900 then SEND to 55019.

Do not be misguided; your NIN is your National Identity Number, not Voter Card number or otherwise.
NB: Only the SIM linked to a candidate’s NIN can be used in sending the message to 55019. In essence, if a candidate has not been enrolled, he/she has to do so.
And if a candidate has lost or misplace the SIM linked to his/her NIN, he/she can simply to a Welcome Back or SIM Swap to be able to register rightly and successfully.
