Finally Lagos State Announces New Dates For Exam And What Students Should Do

The disclosure which was made on a tweet by the senior special assistant to the Lagos state government on New Media, Jubril Gawat, through his official Twitter handle on September 13, 2020, States that all classes in the private secondary school and private primary school are expected to resume on September 21, 2020.

In the announcement date, student in the junior secondary school 3 (JSS3), and student in the senior senior secondary school 2 (SS2) in the public school will resume on September 21, 2020.


All preprimary classes in both private and public school should remain closed until further notice.


However, the Lagos State Examination Board announces new dates for examination into the Lagos state Model College the basic education certificate.

A statement made be the permanent secretary, Ministry of Education, supo Gbadegesin said that the Lagos state BECE will be from October 6 to 12, 2020 at all designated centers across the state at 9am daily.

He also said that the computer based testing version of the screening test would take place on September 26 to 30 2020, while the paper and pencil testing version will take place on October 3, 2020 in the six education district of the state.


All duly registered candidate should revisits the exam board website and reprint their registration slip to ascertain their centers.

All principle must ensure they follow the guideline state for resumption of schools.
