Good News For All WAEC Students As WAEC Is Set To Start Examination In August

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has finally announced that 2020 West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidate will begin by August this year and end by the first week of September. 

And there will be modalities attached to the writing of the examination due to the guidelines given in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 In the country.

The council said that the timetable for the examination will be released in the second week of July. Also the results of candidates will be released on the 45th day after the last paper has been taken.

All 5 members of Africa taking the examination (Nigeria, Gambia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Liberia) will all start the examination at the same time.

Rules and regulations for the examination are as follows:

• Candidates are to arrive at the examination center an hour before the commencement fof the day's paper as lateness will not be condoned.

• Because of the current condition in the world, facemask has been made compulsory as no candidate will be allowed into the examination all without a facemask.

• All candidates are to prepare strictly for the examination as no sort of examination malpractice will be condoned.
