| JAMB 2020 Automatic Admission - All WAEC And JAMB Candidates Should Take Note Of This |
Because the number of Covid 19 cases in Nigeria is rising, it has shut down all the institutions in Nigeria to avoid disease propagation.
The date of the reopening of schools has not been confirmed by the federal government but there was an indication that admission could begin in August as the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, said.
The JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyaed, confirmed that no institution is allowed to fall below the minimum admission limit. It is seen at the 2020 Admission Policy Meeting.
For the 2019/2020 academic session JAMB stipulated the 160, 120 for polytechnics, educational colleges and other creative institutions, as a cut-off point for admission to Nigerian universities.
JAMB could use that cut mark, in my opinion, to admit people automatically into their choice institution because a ban on public meetings is imposed. Therefore, students will have to press ACCEPT Entry on their JAMB portals once they are accepted.
Later on, establishments admitted to it could carry out a mock test, which could give people who did not perform well in their mock exam another lesson based on their performance in a mock test.
